Your score decides your rate.
Slide to your CIBIL score to see which band you're in and what lenders will make of it. Then check your real score free in the Samridhya app — it's a soft enquiry, so it never affects the score itself.
Most lenders approve. You qualify for competitive offers — compare instead of accepting the first quote.

Check my real score freeWhat your CIBIL score means
CIBIL scores run 300–900. Above 750 is excellent — lenders compete for you with their sharpest rates. 650–749 gets most applications approved at standard rates; 550–649 narrows you to fewer lenders at higher rates; below 550, most lenders decline and the priority is rebuilding.
The score is built from payment history (~35%), credit utilisation (~30%), credit age (~15%), and credit mix plus recent enquiries (~20%). One 30-day late payment can cost 50–100 points; utilisation above 30% of your limits steadily drags the score down.
Soft vs hard enquiries — why checking here is safe
When you check your own score — in the Samridhya app or with any bureau — it's a soft enquiry and has zero impact. A hard enquiry happens only when a lender pulls your report for an actual application; several hard enquiries in a short window signal credit hunger and shave points.
That's the advantage of an aggregator: one application on Samridhya lets multiple lenders bid without each of them firing a separate hard enquiry first. You see real offers with minimal score impact.
Common questions.
How can I check my CIBIL score for free?
Download the Samridhya app and check it free — it's a soft enquiry and never affects your score. CIBIL also offers one free report a year at cibil.com.
Does checking my credit score lower it?
No. Checking your own score is a soft enquiry with zero impact. Only hard enquiries — lenders pulling your report for an application — can shave points.
What credit score do I need for a personal loan?
Most lenders want 650+; the best rates go to 750+. Some NBFCs on Samridhya assess first-time borrowers with alternative data, so a thin file isn't an automatic no.
How fast can I improve my credit score?
With on-time payments and utilisation under 30%, meaningful improvement typically shows in 3–6 months; recovering from a default takes longer. There are no legitimate instant fixes.
